I've been single for about
a year. Sometimes, I do feel bored without a guy right next to me. In
reality, I really don't have time to start a new relationship, because
I spend most of my time and effort at work. However, during my only
free times, I would go out with my close friend, Dave. He is also my
ex's friend whom we met back in college.
Dave is such a sweet, caring guy. For a gentleman like him, of course,
there are so many girls after him. In fact, one of my best girlfriends
likes him alot, but unfortunately, she got rejected by Dave. Dave has
been single for awhile too. Among the girls around him, he just doesn't
seem to be interested in any of them, or maybe he's just taking his
time to choose the right one.
Anyhow, Dave and I get along so well, sometimes, we just feel like we
are a couple. The way he treats me is just too perfect, sometimes which
makes me wonder if we are falling in love with each other?! One day,
I brought up the subject. Surprisingly, he was mad because I brought
it up, and he questioned me why would I even started this, because he
believed it was not necessary. He also said it would eventually ruin
our friendship. It's been a week since this happened.
Since then, he hasn't called me (he used to call me everyday or every
other day). I haven't called him either, because I figured that we both
might need some time to think things over between us. The reason I brought
up the whole issue was because I was just curious, as simple as that!
I had no intention whatsoever to ruin our friendship or hoping our friendship
to become something else. Dave really confuses me!! I guess my questions
1. Are we falling in love?
2. Why would he react like that?
3. If we are really falling for each other, what should we do? Because
I just don't think it's going to work out between, we have known each
other for so long (7 years)! And since he is my ex's friend, and my
best friend likes him...it's just too much confusion!
4. What if he calls me again? What am I suppose to say? Honestly, I
miss this friend dearly! I don't want to lose this friend!
Thanks for your time & help!
